Guide for creators
How to make money on by posting for brands.
You can get paid to post on ๐ (formerly Twitter). Claim a funded bounty on PaidHype, post about the brand from your own account, and earn for every 1,000 verified views the post gets. Each brand sets its own rate, view floor and cap, and prints them before you claim.
- 85%
- of what a post earns is yours. PaidHype takes 15%.
- 1,000
- verified views a post needs before it earns, by default. A bounty can set its own.
- 14 days
- each post is measured before it pays out.
- $25
- is the smallest cashout. It is sent to your bank through Stripe.
How you are paid
You are paid for verified views, not for posting.
A brand funds a bounty and sets a rate for every 1,000 verified views. You post about the brand. Once the post has been measured, you earn the views divided by 1,000, times the bounty's rate. PaidHype takes 15% of that and the rest is yours.
Every bounty prints its own rate, view floor and per-post cap before you claim. Those terms are locked onto your claim when you make it, so a brand editing the bounty later never changes a post you already made.
The view floor
A post under the floor earns $0, not a smaller amount. The default floor is 1,000 verified views, and each bounty prints its own.
The per-post cap
A bounty can cap what one post earns. Views past the cap earn nothing more, and the cap is printed before you claim.
The 14-day hold
Your post is measured for 14 days. The payout uses the highest verified reading it reaches in that time.
The bounty budget
Brands pay a bounty's budget in before it opens. Posts are paid in the order they were submitted, until the budget is used.
Who qualifies
Who can get paid to post on X with PaidHype.
You sign in with ๐. That proves you own the account you will post from. After that, each bounty sets its own bar, and the bounty page shows it with your numbers next to it before you claim.
- Followers and account age. By default a bounty asks for 500 followers and an account at least 6 months old. A brand can ask for more or set its own numbers.
- Premium, only where a bounty says so. Some bounties are limited to verified (Premium) accounts. The rest are not.
- Brand approval. Some bounties approve you automatically. Others hold your claim while the brand reviews creators by hand. Wait for the approval before you post.
- Age and country. You must be 18 or over, and Stripe must be able to pay out to your country.
- A first review, once. Your first submitted post goes to a person for review. Views are measured the whole time, and later posts skip this step.
- Not the brand's own people. A brand's own ๐ account and its team cannot claim its bounties.
You can connect more than one ๐ account. Each one is verified on its own, must qualify on its own, and cashes out on its own.
The steps
From claim to cashout in six steps.
Step 1. Sign in and pick a bounty.
Sign in with ๐, then browse the board. Each bounty shows its rate, its cap, its view floor, the slots left and what it asks of an account. Pick one that fits your audience.
Step 2. Claim it. Claiming is free.
Claiming reserves nothing. A slot is taken when you submit a post, first come, first served, so post soon after you claim.
The rate, cap, view floor and fee are locked onto your claim. A brand can decline you for one bounty, and that decision covers that bounty only.
Step 3. Write the post in your own voice, then run the free draft check.
The brief is a guide, not a script. Run your draft through the draft check before you post. It is free, up to 5 times per bounty per day. It runs the same checks as the real one, but passing it is not a promise.
The only links allowed are the tracked link PaidHype issues you and the brand's own site. Link shorteners are rejected. If the bounty requires the #PaidHype tag, include it.
Step 4. Post from your account and submit the link within 60 minutes.
Post from the ๐ account you connected. The post has to be published after you claimed. Paste its URL into PaidHype within 60 minutes of posting. The clock is the post's own timestamp.
A post can back one claim, once, across the whole platform. An old post that already has views cannot be reused.
Step 5. Leave the post up and untouched for 14 days.
PaidHype reads the post's public numbers every hour for the first 48 hours, then once a day until day 14. Screenshots and self-reported analytics never count.
Editing or deleting the post before the hold ends forfeits the payout. Views that jump without matching engagement freeze the post for a person to review, and your earnings are kept while they look.
Step 6. Collect your payout and cash out through Stripe.
The payout releases 14 days after you submit, once the post is approved. It uses the highest verified reading your post reached. It then sits in your balance until it reaches $25, and nothing in it expires.
Request a cashout and PaidHype approves it before Stripe sends it. Stripe collects your identity, bank and tax details once. Your earnings screen shows every payout and the post it came from.
Other ways to earn
Other ways people make money on .
PaidHype is one route. These are the others, described in general terms. Each has its own rules and they change, so read the source before you plan around any of them.
X's own creator payouts
X shares part of its revenue with some eligible accounts. X sets who qualifies and how it pays, and has changed the rules more than once. Requirements have included a paid Premium subscription, a minimum number of verified followers and a minimum number of impressions. Check X's Help Center for the current terms.
Direct sponsorships
A brand pays you a flat fee to post. You find the brand, agree the price and terms, send the invoice and chase the payment yourself. It can pay well for a large, well-matched audience. Nothing measures the views unless you write that into the deal.
Affiliate links and referral programs
Some brands pay a commission when someone you send buys or signs up. You earn only when that happens, and how much depends on the program.
Your own products and services
Sell a course, a newsletter, a service or a product to your audience. You keep all of the money and you do all of the work.
Where PaidHype fits: there is no pitching, no invoice and no waiting on a net-30 date. PaidHype reads the views itself, and a post under the view floor earns $0. It works best for creators whose audience already fits a brand.
